About the Region
One of the largest Regions in South African football
SAFA Cape Town is the mother body of local amateur football in the Cape, affiliated to the South African Football Association. Our footprint stretches from Fish Hoek to Dunoon, Somerset West to Atlantis.
Our mandate
We exist to grow, govern and protect the game across the metro. That means organising competitive league and cup football, registering clubs and players, educating coaches and match officials, and safeguarding the integrity of every fixture played under our banner.
Football in Cape Town is community football. Every weekend, thousands of players take to fields across the peninsula because volunteers, administrators and officials make it possible.
